Loading is carried out using standard metal sheets. The machine joins and clamps the sheets together. The cutting and welding is done fully automatically until a complete side wall of a railroad car is made. The photo shows a top view of the machine. The automatic loading system can load stainless steel plates from 2000 × 1250 mm to 2500 × 4000 mm. The sheets are welded one after the other and loaded into the cutting zone. When there is enough sheet material in the cutting zone, the cutting of the door and window openings begins. In the meantime, another bridge, equipped with suction cups, begins to remove the large cutting debris. Small cutting waste falls onto a conveyor belt under the cutting table. After the openings have been cut, a new cycle of sheet metal welding begins along with the cutting out of doors and window openings. The resulting production piece can be up to 25 meters long.
